Telescope Control sluggish to start or unresponsive

Hello, All controls and aspects of my Backyard Eos work superb except for the slew control of my mount. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I have a Meade LXD75 mount that runs through ASCOM. The mount works well with all other programs: such as Stellarium and PHD2. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
