No, I'm not sure where to find that How To Forum. Can you send me a link? Or just tell me where it is so i can google it... Thanks

    Dithering

Can someone tell me what the proper dithering settings should be at using BYEOS? I'm pretty new to imaging, and another friend tells me that PHD2 gets its dithering info from BYEOS. Thanks, Rodney
  5. Well I'm not sure what I did then...I don't like that because if it does it again, I'm at a loss for answers. Rodney
  6. Well. here's what I didn't do...After i installed the software i didn't do a restart. Once I did this, it woke up. Also this software installed three shortcuts on my desktop, BYOES v2.0, BYEOS V 3.1, and BYEOS V3.1 Camera2.... All three worked after the restart. So all is good now..I'm a MAC user BTW. but I guess the Crazy Windows like to be restarted...! Thank you !
  7. What does Eds and SDK mean? I don't have a clue...I looked at the help section in the BYEOS software, but it does not address my camera. Just canon issues in general. So I'm at a loss here. Anyone can help who has had a similar issue maybe can help. I'm still playing with it. Thanks
  8. Just purchased BYEOS. Plugged in the camera to the USB, hit Connect. Tried to connect for split second then did not. Got this error message...Not my day! Rodney

    D700 BULB Issue

Problem solved...rather than spend another $100 on the 10-pin cable and the USB adapter. i will just buy the BYEOS for $50. My Canon T7i does not require serial connection...YES!

    D700 BULB Issue

Thank you! Oh, BTW, how will that cable interface my computer for the BYN...Looks like it just goes from the 10-pin back into the camera jack?

    D700 BULB Issue

Mine is a D700, will it work for that model?

    D700 BULB Issue

Okay, I got something here! This D700 10-pin connector accepts the Remote Cord PN-MC-36...This is what I will need to get this thing working. I'll see if this Shoestring web site sells it, if not I'll order from Nikon or an aftermarket sales place...Thanks. Nope, wrong...All this is, is a remote switch. I need a cable from the 10-pin to the Serial Port of the computer. Does such a thing exist? Rodney
