  1. It seems that my mistake was to transfer the download file. By downloading it again it has validated. I did mention that in my original post. As we say in the uk, download means download.
  2. Thanks for the reply. I did not realise that typing in the key would not be allowed.I have viewed the End User Agreement. I have been trying to validate the second installation. I am using the same username and the laptop does have an internet connection.
  3. I've installed the trial version on my main computer and started to use it. I then transferred the download to my laptop so I can use it outside. The problem I have is that validation fails. I have uninstalled byeos from my main computer, but I can still not get the new installation validated. Is there anything I am doing wrong?

The connect log states that the 1300d has been recognised then it says that my my real serial number is not the same as reported and that Generic model 153 assumed! 17:49:07 Licensed to c...1949 17:50:20 Attempting to connect camera... 17:50:20 Canon drivers 'Canon215\' initialized. 17:50:20 DEVICEINFO DESCRIPTION IS Canon EOS 1300D 17:50:20 DEVICEINFO NUMBER IS 3470492101. 17:50:20 YOUR *REAL* MODEL NUMBER IS 4294967294(FFFFFFFE) 17:50:20 Generic model 153 assumed! 17:51:11 Copy to clipboard
