Trying to activate trying, but getting error that I'm not connected to the internet

Question

Requested a license key, downloaded 3.1.3, inputted my license key and username, but it's saying, "License activation error! Internet access is required to activate a trial key". The thing is, if I change either the username or license key to something invalid, it will tell me it's not valid. So it's verifying that it's correct, but still giving me an error. This is the first key I've requested and yes, I'm connected to the internet (proof: I'm posting here).

The key is verified with a digital signature locally first, this is why you get an error message saying the key is invalid when you enter something wrong.

As for trial keys, they need to reach our validation server to activate, hence the internet connection required.

If you have internet access on that computer and it still says you need internet access it is probably due to your anti-virus and/or firewall preventing the application to contact the activation server.  This would be a first out of > 2000 keys so I'm pretty sure this is a anti-virus and/or firewall.

Try deactivating your anti-virus for the activation process and see if that works.

I have just tried your key on my computer and it validated.

Keep us posted,
