Nikon D850: Camera action fired: 'MaestroDisconnect'

rbechtold

Question

Hello,

I got the following problem:

I installed the newest version of BY Nikon Premium on my ASUS Laptop and on my Eagle 4.0.

The Nikon D850 has also installed the newest firmware.

If I plug my Nikon D850 into the Eagle there are no connection problems with BYN and the cam.

If I plug my Nikon D850 into the ASUS, there is always a "Camera action fired: 'MaestroDisconnect' " failure

I use the same cable for the connection between cam and computer and I tried also to switch the cable. The problem is the same, whatever cable I use.

The only difference is when I connect the Nikon to the ASUS, the cam is powered with a full battery. On the other side, when the Nikon is connected to the Eagle, the cam is powered from the Eagle.

I tried also different batteries and I tried also the Tcp Server Setting (checkbox) with port no. 1499. It makes no difference.

The disconnection on the ASUS takes place within 1-4 seconds.

I checked a logfile from the ASUS with a logfile from the Eagle.

Until around row 358 the entries are all the same. The following row in the ASUS_logfile shows the INFO:  Application state changed: 'Disconnected'

What can I do?

Best Regards

Ralf
