D5300 sporadic problem

I've used BY Nikon quite a lot - version 1.0.0 v100 currently. There have always been times when the camera or software get into a state where no connection can be made. This time nothing helps. I've several cables - it's not that. Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 will connect. Camera is a D5300.

Did you try a reboot?

Restarting the WIA service fixes the problem.  This appears to be a Nikon driver issue, but I'm still not sure Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 would connect

 

Keep us posted after a reboot or restarting WIA service.

You should make sure that you are using the latest release of BYN (version 1.0.1). It was released about 2 months ago.
