Sorry if this is a little short on explanations. I did write a nice longer detailed message with different scenarios, but the forum said my key was incorrect, and when I got back to the page, the message was gone. I think the forum keeps logging me out after a few minutes which is annoying. So I have to be quick.

auto logout??? I've never had that happen...This is a web site, so if you navigate off the page when you have a partially written post, that post is not saved and is not recoverable.

When I write a long post, I write it in Notepad, paste it into the reply area of the page, then post it.

Chrome has built in input field saving, so you can fill out a textarea, go to the next page, or the next page, or the next page.. and then click back, and the text area will be recovered, this happens with the "title" text input, but the main message box seems is not a regular textarea that has been enhanced, but a whole system of its own. So when you navigate back to this page, the text area is not actually on the Dom structure for Chrome to recover the message for you.. Hence the no recover.

But alas that was not the problem in the first place..

I was typing on this page.. and typing and typing, and then added a link.. and then clicked the "post" button, but rather than be greeted with "Your message has been posted".. I read key error, and found while I was typing my message and testing what the root cause of the bug was, I had been logged out. Couple that with not being able to press back to copy the message, is what the problem was.
