Trial keys now require internet connection to validate.  Purchase keys do not.

Downloaded and installed to the Office PC, key works ok.

I'll do the Ob PC later ... when it stops raining !!

 

If this works all ok I may upgrade to the Premium Edition just to get the planning section working.

 

Also looking to buy another Canon camera so I can attempt an IR mod but still maintain imaging capability if something goes wrong.

I just downloaded and installed over the 3.1.0 version I had on my laptop.

I filled filled in the key and my name and voila everything is up and running.

I hope to get out son and pick up some good nights to image again.

I just tried the download. I copied the key from my client area and pasted it into the Validation box.

Got error message "Key length invalid". Tried it several timew.

Then you did not copy your entire key, you are missing at least 1 character, that I'm 100% sure of

I installed v3.1.3 and it installed over 3.1.2.  When I started it I had to re-validate the license key, but I did not need to type/paste in the key...It was pre-filled.

Yes, minor revision 3.1.X have always installed over it's previous minor revision.  The re-validation of purchase keys in this case was due to the change I made with the trial keys... purchase keys just need to be re-validated without having to re-enter your key... which is odd why Ned had the validation error in the first place

Same here,  I didn't have to fill anything. However, I can't see PHD anymore. No mater what I tried it is not available. I start BYE 1st then PHD and reverse, nothing.

What do you mean?  The PHD icon has changed to a more generic icon because of MetaGuide support.  The button has the same behavior.  I think you got confused because the PHD icon is not there... but PHD works just the same.  Make sure you select PHD as dither provider in the Setting dialog... but the default should be PHD.
