Planetary Mode & Camera Setting

wrz0170

Question

Hello! I am very new to AP so please be gentle. Using an SV80 with a Canon T2i and for the moment, the trial version of BYE. Question is the camera setting. When I am in Planetary Mode, do I want the dial on the camera to be in "M" or Video mode (Crop)?

I get the impression that the Video mode 640x480(crop) would be for untethered camera?

Thanks!

The camera needs to by in dial M mode.

For planetary you will want to use a TV shutter of less than 1 second and probably a low ISO as well.

When record make sure to use the 5x zoom which gives your a 1:1 pixel resolution = best possible quality.

Thank you!! At the suggested starting points of less than a second and low ISO, I would make those settings in BYE and not the camera itself as BYE controls the camera?
