Canon T6i Support?

I imagine it is too early to say if it will be supported for sure, but I saw a recent announcement about the T6s and T6i being released by Canon. It has WiFi and NFC capabilities. So, just thought I'd mention this new version coming out.

Thanks, like any other model in the past I will support it as soon as someone has one on hand and is willing to run a few tests for me.  It usually takes me less than 1 day to support new models.

A 24 megapixel camera with 3.72 micron pixels seems almost too much for prime focus astrophotography, at least with most amateur equipment and less than perfect skies.

Almost ALL of Us on this Forum are already Imaging with DSLRs that hold 4.3 micron Pixels.  And yet we are "Surviving" our local Seeing Conditions...

 

The additional Pixel Resolution - especially if accompanied by an Increase in Sensitivity or at least Better Noise Control - will only Help Us for those times when we get 5-10 minutes (or even only 1-2) of Better Seeing!!
