D5300 Not Connecting - Fixed

Question

With the latest version of BYN my D5300 was not connecting. I read several forums about different ways to try to fix the problem.

What I did. Uninstall the latest version of BYN (2.1) and go back to my former version (2.0.1.1). My camera connected.

I had a feeling this was the case because I could connect the D5300 to my former miniPC which I was replacing with this new one. On that one I was running 2.0.1.1

The developers will probably be interested in seeing a log file from a session where BYN 2.1.2 (the latest current release) would not connect to your D5300. This is because if an older version of BYN does connect, then the latest version should also connect with no issues.

Please follow the procedure in the How-To post for how to submit log files to send them just one log file that was captured when BYN the newer version failed to connect.

Be sure to describe your symptoms or reference your post on this thread in the support email with the log file attached.
