Latest BYE problem

Question

EOS 200D.  After working well for a while, the earlier version would download the files but not display them on screen. I've deleted the program and re installed V 3.2.1 premium. The camera responds between 'frame & focus' and 'imaging' but won't respond to 'Start capture' Just two bleeps from the sound and no camera operation.  In 'Frame & Focus, the screen does show the image.

Which release candidate of 3.2.1 are you using?

So LiveView does work in Frame & Focus. Is that correct? Can you also take and see Snap Images on the screen in F&F?

Imaging gives inconsistent response...Sometimes not responding to Start Capture (two bleeps but no camera operation). Sometimes images are captured and downloaded and saved on the PC, but not displayed. Is that correct?

Are you sure that your Save To location is the PC?

Are you shooting RAW or JPG, or both?

Do you have a lens on the camera? If so is it in MF or AF mode? If the lens is in AF mode, but the camera cannot achieve focus, it will not take an image and BYE will time out. Is that happening?
