transferring to a new computer

hi, I purchased BYE earlier this year. I've since bought a new PC. I registered on the site and downloaded BYE. When starting, I get a little window for entering my license key and identifier. I did, and then nothing. Hitting return does nothing either. I'm stuck....jeff

Set your monitor to full HD, you're in 4k and the license entry form does not render well in 4k

I fixed most of these 4k issues in 3.2.2.RC1, you should download it.

No response? BYE crashes? BYE disappears?

Which version of BYE? This is ALWAYS important!

Yes, that little box asking for my identifier and license remains on the screen after I fill out the info and hit return. nothing else comes up. If I close the box, it closes the program (version 3.2.1). If I reopen the program, I just get the little box again and around and around.

After entering the license key and identifier, click the Validate button, not just simply hitting return.

I only know what you said. That is what I reacted to.

Here is how it looks for me.

It looks to me that your text is too large and runs beyond the limits of the pop up box.  Is there any way to reduce your font sizesuch as using CTRL +- (minus key)?  Alternately, does TAB key move the cursor around to the next field?  Youcould try that after typing in the identifier field and pressing ENTER to see if that works, assuming that this highlights the Validate button off screen.

This has been answered and solved already.  Just set your monitor to full HD (not 4k) -or- download the latest 3.2.2.RC1 release candidate.
