Hello Admin,
My BackyardNIKON crashes frequently with the error "binaryrivers.backyardeos.start has stopped working"
I am running the following setup:
1) Macbook Pro running VMWARE where Windows 7 is hosted.
2) Installed Backyard Nikon, Sharp Pro on Windows 7.
3) TCP Server port configured on Sharpcap pro and BackyardNIKON. Snapshot attached.
4) After 4 successful captures, BackyardNIKON crashes. I have attached the log file for analysis.
5) It is observed that there is no "DEBUG - NIKON EVENT --> OnDeviceOnImageReady(1,type[1]) fired" log on the 5th capture, that is when BackyardNIKON crashes.
I know this has something to do with the setting somewhere but do not know where.
Kindly assist.
Thanks in Advance,
-Abhijit

Try changing your download folder to be in the Windows virtual C drive rather than on vmware-host. The UNC path is causing BYN to report errors in the log like: ERROR - Object must be a root dire
