Installation directory for BYEOS V3.1

I just downloaded the upgrade for BackyardEOS V3.1

 

Question: Does BYEOS V3.1 install in a new directory structure, or does it install to the existing BYEOS V3.0 directory structure (C:\Program Files (x86)\BackyardEOSv3)?

 

The reason I ask is that I would like to install V3.1 and still be able to use 3.0x for now (in case I encounter some unforeseen issue with 3.1 ).

I was too excited and impatient to wait for an answer, so I went ahead an installed V3.1.

 

Here is the answer to my own question: V3.1 does install in its own directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\BackyardEOSv3.1), and V3.0 & V3.1 appear to be able to run happily on the same computer (I would only be using one at a time, if necessary).

The new 3.1 downloaded and installed very easily.  It was nice to have 3.03 still available so I could refer to some of my custom settings and repeat them in 3.1.  All I need now is some clear sky on a weekend and I'm in business!!!
