Live view

Hello

I plan on using a canon Rebel XT 350D.

It is compatible, but under live view it says no 

does that mean I won’t be able to use the live view feature on the software? 
or is it just stating that the camera itself doesn’t have a live view?

Good question... the only answer is that software can not manufacture features the camera does not have/support.

The 350D does not have live view so as a result BYE can not offer that feature.

In addition to Guylain's answer, I would also say that since the Planetary and Drift Align tabs also rely on LiveView, they will not work either.

Also, because the camera's support by Canon ended before the release of 64-bit versions of Windows, there is no 64-bit low level driver for the XT. This means that it will only be recognized by Windows if you install a 32-bit driver on a 32-bit version of Windows. The driver would have come on the CD that came with the camera, although you may be able to download the Windows XP driver from the Canon web site and install it on a later 32-bit version of Windows.
