Astrotortilla is old an no longer an active project.

In the latest BYE 3.2 Premium Edition I have added ASTAP plat solving to replace Astrotortilla.

In the future, please post in the BYE forum instead of the general forum.  I will move this thread in the BYE forum.

Is there any value in Astrotorttia if my scope does not have a ASCOM port?

To answer your direct question:

There is little direct value to using any Plate Solver (AstroTortilla or ASTAP or other) as implemented in BYE/BYN, unless you have some ASCOM Connection to the GOTO Function of your Mount.  This is because the main functionality implemented is for Centering on an Object's Coordinates.

You can, however, configure CdC (Cartes d' Ciel) or Stellarium or The Sky or Google Sky to display the Resolved Coordinates in a Planetarium View (complete with a Reticule) so that you can envision the Framing of the Images you are about to Collect.

What scope?

There is no such thing as an "ASCOM port".

Most Go To telescopes have a USB port, a serial port, or a LAN connection that can be connected to a computer or a network. This connection allows programs that are running on the computer to send commands to the telescope. One way to do this on a Windows PC is with an ASCOM telescope driver that is designed to allow any ASCOM telescope control applications to control the scope. However, it does not need to be an ASCOM application. Any program that can send properly formatted messages and receive the replies can also work.
