Nikon D80 Bulb

Hi, 

Which cable do I need to get my Nikon D80 to take exposures longer than 30 seconds in BULB mode? (And where can I buy one!)

Sorry, but according to the BYN Supported Cameras table the D80 is  Not Supported. This is due to one of two reasons. The camera is no longer supported is one reason. The other is that Nikon did not create an SDK that 3rd party developers like O'Telescope can use to support remote control. See the link below:

I have removed the "D40/D40X/D50/D60/D70/D80" form the supported camera list a few months back because the SDK for these older models supports XP and Vista only and these OS are no longer supported by Microsoft, therefore I can no longer support these models.

It may still connect and work, but I do not support them.

If you insist on purchasing a cable BYE/BYN was tested with the Shoestring DSUSB cable.

Thankyou, my Nikon D80 works fine for everything else, as I am using the Windows compatibility mode.

Where do I get the shoestring DSUSB cable from?

If you buy  a Shoestring DSUSB cable be sure to test it with their test software before trying to use it with BYN. Also be sure to select the correct Cable Support option in BYN's Capture Plan Center.
