I believe that the 60D has a couple of issues. Hopefully, if I am incorrect, others will correct me.

The 60D has separate Manual and Bulb modes and to change modes, you must rotate the knob on the camera. In my opinion this feature makes the camera unsuitable for telescope-mounted astrophotography unless you are going to be typically set up near the camera.

Early versions of the 60D and 60Da died unexpectedly, so I would beware if you are purchasing a used camera.

The LiveView frame rate of the 60D is slower than other EOS models, so keep this in mind if you intend to do a lot of planetary imaging with it.
