Feature Request - Image Filename shown in ToolTip when hovering over a Filmstrip Thumbnail Image

s3igell

Question

During the course of an active Imaging Session, especially a rather lengthy one with multiple Targets and Previews and Meridian-Flip Re-Framings, the FilmStrip can have Dozens (or even over 100 - in the case of last Sat Night) of Images.  It becomes quite difficult to identify which-is-which.  Even with the option of Loading for Display (which does then provide the current Filename in the Image Center header), "Loading" several Images from the FilmStrip just to find the correct one by Filename is a bit time-consuming.

Suggestion:  Enable the ToolTip feature for Hovering over individual FilmStrip Images, with the File Name as the ToolTip Content.

Along with this Feature Request, I'll re-post a related previous Suggestion that I made in a different Thread:

It would be nice to have a small identifier/marker in the Image Thumbnail Strip of those Images produced via the Current Imaging Run vs those Drag-n-Drop.
(A "*" or "#" or other Char instead of the "@" symbol maybe...)
This would help when using the Preview/Drag-Drop feature to compare current Imaging Run to Past Results.
And, it might lead to ideas for the manner to implement "Clear Selected" / "Clear Dragged" / "Clear All"...

I guess these FilmStrip-related Feature Requests are the "Penalty" that you suffer for adding Yet Another Very Useful Feature to BYE/BYN...
