BYE Freezes using with Cannon Rebel EOS T5

dyemul

Question

I am new to astro photography. I have downloaded the trial version. Trying to make it work with my Cannon EOS Rebel T05. I cannot get this to work for more than 5 minutes.

It keeps freezing. I have tried two different cables, reset the camera, restarted the PC several time. It still freezes. My computer is new and definitely not slow. Log file of the latest run is attached.
Please help.

dyemul,

Your post above doesn't make sense. The screenshot of BYE and the two attached log files are for BYE 3.1.18, but it appears that you thought that you were running BYE 3.1.16. What gives?

My bad. I thought i was running 3.1.16. Where can I download the 3.1.16 version?

What I find odd is that the thumbnail are displayed... and the image has to be loaded to generate the thumbnail... I'm really stump.

Can you upload 1 jpg and 1 cr2 image on dropbox and the likes and provide link, I'd like to have 1 of each.... who know, maybe I'll see something.

dyemul:

Is there any chance that your Camera is running an Upgraded version of the Canon Firmware??  Or one of the replacement firmwares such as MagicLantern??

I don't want to sidetrack your work with admin, but this is one question he hasn't asked yet...

Have you been able to upload the images somewhere?  Dropbox?  OneDrive?  Anywhere?

If yes send me the link, I would really want to try and test with real images that is giving you grief in hopes that I can find something.

Thanks

Sorry got busy. Please let me know what exactly you want me to upload. Just the images that I have been able to save?

Yes, I'd like to get 1 .cr2 and 1 jpg from your camera so I can test with your images from your camera.

Thank you

Any news on getting those sample image files?

In the mean time, I made a small blind change in 3.2.1.RC1.  Please download again and try it.  Curious to see the outcome.

I have downloaded this version. Will test and upload the data tomorrow on GDrive. Sorry about the delay.
