Canon 1200D not connecting to Windows 10


I am using the Backyard EOS 3.1.17 Classic Edition and my Canon 1200D is not getting detected. When the camera is switched on, it briefly comes on and then goes off again. The camera works normally when not connected to the computer. I am using a USB cable to connect the camera to the computer and I have already tried with a new cable. 

It was working fine a couple of days ago.

Can anyone help?
