RC5 preview not working

Jerry_K

Question

I have no clue what's going on. Until few minutes ago the preview with camera disconnected worked just fine except that spot histogram didn't pop up. I have connected camera, window with "Drop your images here" or something like that, appeared. I dropped image to check if spot histogram worked, it did just as it was supposed to. I have disconnected camera to test spot histogram again and image disappeared. When I tried to drop it in again I got this One Way symbol and there was no way to drop the image. I restarted BYE, and now there was no message to drop image and it didn't allow the image to be dropped. How did CR5 got corrupted? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall again? Not only that but with camera disconnected I don't have the option anymore to view shooting program, right side is completely blank. One more thing: on startup before any icons were loaded on screen there was a count-down in Camera Information Center counting down queue (bottom right panel). Now task manager has 4 instances of background worker running at the same time. Weird stuff.

Well, what do you know. After shutting everything down and restarting laptop everything is fine now. I forgot to click on Preview button in order to drop images. Senior moment, I guess.

With the Camera Disconnected, are you remembering to press the "Preview" button to enter into Preview Mode ??

I remembered after I sent call for help. Like I said in previous message: senior moments. But that spot histogram with preview button highlighted and camera disconnected still doesn't work on dropped image. And yes, I am holding down the right button

Send me the log file, I want to see if there is a UI error preventing the control to work after that.

Regards,
