The D70 was released in 2004, that is over 15 years ago.  There is no chance to offer support other than what is already there sadly. 

The camera support matrix has it listed as not supported.

Try running BYN in Vista SP2 Compatibility mode and see if this makes a difference.  This is needed for the D40 (the D70 is not that far behind) so this may work.  However, even if it does work, the D70 has no live view, can't do BULB over USB and has not serial port for triggering BULB over serial port.
