SDK error

Hello,

I downloaded (trial) and installed backyard EOS, but when try to connect to the camera I get an sdk initialization error, below a copy of the log

First, with the 50D you need to use the Canon SDK (drivers). The Canon210 SDK is for very old models.

I recently installed BYE on a new laptop. I got the same error that I fixed by changing the permissions on the parent folder that contains the BackyardTEMP and Download folders and all its children. I gave full control to authenticated users.

What version of BYE?  Always provide the version.

Send me the log file and I'll take a look.  The EdsInitializeSDK command is the first command sent to the SDK, this error is very odd. 

Did you try EOS Utility?  

Did you reboot your PC?
