MBox Setup and install

I just received my MBox, I connected it to my Win 10 PC, I don't see it in device manager! Is there a driver I need to install with it?

According to the MBox Manual there may need a USB driver for the device. The manual gives a link to the FTDI download page. However, the manual seems to indicate that this is only needed for older version of Windows.

When you look in the Windows Device Manager do you see any unidentified USB devices? If so it likely means that Windows was unable to find an already-installed driver for the FTDI chipset on your system. You could install an FTDI driver to see if it works or you could contact MBox for advice, or perhaps wait to see if Guylain has any advice.

I didn't get any manual with this MBox. I don't see any "Unidentified" USB devices but I did see a Com 3 appear.

Wait, holy moly, its reading. I guess it just took it a bit to register with BYEOS.

Glad you got it to work.  These devices are plug and play usually.  BYE may take up to 2 minutes before reading it and then it reads periodically, I think every 2 minutes or so.
