BYN RC3.....final version?

Hi,

when do you release BYN RC3 officially either as final pre-release or as final version? I would like to purchase the pro version now as I am very happy with the pre-pre-release, which I got from you for testing

Not sure what you mean by "pro version". BYN versions have multi-part numbers (as in 2.0.11 RC3). BYN licenses are Trial, Classic, and Premium. Versions and licenses are independent since new versions can use your existing license.

You can purchase a BYN license and apply it to the pre-release RC3 product.

I would imagine that the pre-release will become the release version when 1) the authors have implemented all the new features on their list and 2) that the newly-supported cameras work well. That date may not yet be set.

Every BackyardNikon.exe can be activated as TRIAL, REGULAR, or PRO - depending solely on the Activation Key that you use.  So even the RC3 is capable of running as PRO version.

You can buy now and use your key with any 3.1.x releases, including pre-releases.  That is not a problem.

RC3 was just uploaded in the pre-release section.  The Z7 should connect now.
