I believe it was on this forum that someone recommended an active USB cable that had two input receptacles. I bought one and now I need another but I can't remember where I got it.

Could someone refresh my memory?

I think that it was me that posted about the 2 port repeater. I just love it, never had a hiccup for full year.

Here is where I bought it:

Well I'll chime in with a different option. I got this:

USB hub and this:

20 meter USB repeater cable. I use PHD2, BYEOS, FocusUSB, and a Serial USB converter for EQMOD (and coming this week, a filter wheel) all through that cable without any issue.

I've tried to overload the bandwidth with BYEOS liveview and PHD2 or another capture program for the guide camera and still no issues.

Why is it that so many PC Peripherals seem to NEED to "Broadcast their Presence" with overly bright LEDs (especially BLUE or WHITE) ??  And where does an AP Imager hide them so that our Dark Adapted Eyes aren't affected or destroyed while still using them ??  (It appears the suggested USB2 Hub has an Illuminated Blue Stripe across its top.  It also has a Mini-USB2 connector for the PC Connection - much less secure than the readily available USB2-B connector design that would fit in the same side location on that Hub.)

It's the same as for Home A/V Peripherals - where I just hate to see a stack of Blue LEDs and Illuminated Faceplates while I'm trying to watch a Late Evening Movie...
