Clarification on Page 38 of the BackyardEOS 3.1.x User Guide

Trapezium46

Question

On page 38 of the BackyardEOS 3.1.x User Manual, What do you specifically mean "the Capture Plan Center is divided into four (5) separate controls.  Do you mean four separate controls? or five controls?  Then you break it down into six sections.  Are we talking about Exposure groups? Which I see there are 5.  Its a bit confusing.

I agree that it could be clearer.

I would read the detailed descriptions and ignore that sentence.

There are 4 groups of controls in the Capture Plan Center. Header Information. Exposure Groups, Load/Save Capture Plans (Premium Only) and the Buttons.

It might be better to describe the Progress Center under a separate section of the manual since it is not part of the Capture Plan Center group of controls.

There are actually 7 controls in each row of the Exposure groups area.

The row number. You can click on this to de-activate the row.
The exposure count. The number of images to shoot.
The Shutter speed.
The Duration. Length of BULB exposures, in seconds.
The ISO. ISO setting for the row.
Pause. Extra time (seconds) added between exposures on this row.
Force suspend flag. When set, the capture plan is suspended before the row is executed. The user must manually resume the plan.
