Delay after image capture

While using BYE nikon I have noticed that there is a long pause after capture until the image is downloaded to thumbnail. For example, if the image is 3 minutes long, after the shutter closes tere is another 3 minute delay before the image finishes downloading and the next image initiates capture. What is causing this extensive delay?

The behavior that you are reporting could be due to having Long Exposure Noise Reduction (LENR) enabled in the camera. Turn it off and the problem should go away.
