Clicking preview, I see "Off-line Plan Editor".  There is no "Cable Support", it is stippled out.

Buttons at the bottom are stippled out.

I have checked "force USB cable" in the setup. I really do not want to try to use WiFi.

Canon EOS Utility works fine.

Computer is an Asus laptop, 64 bit, Windows 10, 64 bit.

Your problem is not that LiveView doesn't work. It is that you are not connecting BYE with the camera. Until you are connected, most of the controls are disabled (grayed out).

The 80D is a DIGIC VI camera you MUST select the Canon driver/SDK set at connect time. The Canon215 SDK does not include support for the 80D.

Do not try to connect via WiFi. The Canon SDK does not support WiFi connections and will be unable to find the camera. Turn WiFi off in the camera.
