Backyard EOS 3 Key Valid?

I have an active key for Backyard EOS when it was "Binary Rivers" and not O Telescope. I assume it should also be valid for the update to 3.1 but it won't accept my key. Who do I contact for a new key?

Starting with BYE 3.1.x the key structure was changed. The new key is maintained on this web site, rather than by you. You need to go through the Store to upgrade your key to a 3.1 key. When you follow the instructions and use part of your 3.0.x license key as the coupon code, you will get a new key which is displayed in the My Purchases main tab.
