Telescope control within BYEOS ver. 3.1.8

Greetings to the BYEOS collective....

 

I have a quick question to ask and hopefully someone may be able to respond with an answer.

 

I've updated to the newest software version of BYEOS (ver.3.1.8) as well as updated ASCOM to (ver. 6.3)

 

In telescope mode....within BYEOS        I can move the scope in RA...however I can not move the scope in DEC

 

Any suggestions?

Hi Peter, I looked at the log files and I see no errors.  

 

The rate is very slow though when you slew up/down at -0.0835614924458207, -10%) compared to 2.08903731114552 when you slew left/right.

 

Increase the slew rate percentage and see if this makes a difference.

Moving the scope in all 4 directions works when choosing the ASCOM Telescope Simulator. So, it is important to know what ASCOM telescope and driver are you using.
