NIKON to buy

I have been able to connect the 810a so now I'd like to buy NIKON.

 

Can I run this on two laptops? as one will be a backup in caee we need it.  I'm now expanding our Asteroid program and gear. 

 

I also have 3 u/names crux, James1 and NGC5139 and 3 p/words. Can I just use one u/n and select my own p/w?

There is absolutely no need to have more than 1 username on the O'Telescope web site. Doing so is the behavior of someone who is trying to cheat the BYE/BYN licensing to have more than 1 trial license of BYE/BYN (in an attempt to have free use of the software for an extended period). Guylain has said that those who do this risk expulsion from the site. You should correspond privately with Guylain and sort that out ASAP.

 

Even if you want to run multiple simulataneous installations of BYE/BYN, there is no need for multiple usernames. Simply purchase the additional licenses under the same username.

 

The license allows you to install BYN onto multiple computers as long as you only run one installation at a time. Each installation can control multiple cameras simultaneously, if correctly configured..

When you create 2 or more accounts and a trial is requested in 2 or more accounts I know about it.  This is seen as someone trying to get perpetual trial licenses and the license server is programmed to banned those accounts/ip/computer for life.  

 

You created multiple accounts with trails keys in 2 of these accounts.  Account "James1" and "NGC5139" have been banned already because they each had a trial key.

 

Your 'crux' account is still active because you have a purchase key for each BYN and BYE in there.  Use this account from now on, including to reply to this thread because James1 was banned.  You can purchase as many times as you want with one account.  However, please DO NOT request another trial with this account and any other accounts because as soon as you activate another trial your account crux will get banned.

James, I'm just trying to understand here.

 

Is one of those accounts your personal account and your intent was to create a second account for Kingaroy Observatory and get a BYN license for the observatory?  That is fine and it does make sense to create an account for the Kingaroy Observatory separate from your own.  If this is the case let me know and I'll see what I can do to reactivate one of these 2 accounts.
