does anyone know why the tcp box won't stay checked when I restart BYN.  I've read the threads, checked that the firewall port is allowed etc. stumped.

Is this the only setting not saved?  If not this may look like a windows privilege issue.  Run with admin rights an see if it is saved.  It should.

Yes it is the only setting that doesn't save.

With BackyardEOS 3.1.8, I am unable to duplicate what you are reporting.
