Hi Diego,

Yes please do, the SDK is out for this model so all I need is those numbers and I should be able to make it work.

Just tried v3.1.8 with the T6i and got this on the log:

18:16:19  Attempting to connect camera...
18:16:19  Canon drivers 'Canon\' initialized.

18:16:22  750D-T6i CONNECTED!

But, for starters, the selected dial option shown on BackyardEOS doesn't match the actual dial selection on the camera (ie M on the camera is shown as CA in BEOS). Things don't work as expected.

I can't find the pattern and numbers you mentioned. v3.1.7 doesn't show it either. How can I help?

Try 3.1.7 and if you get numbers in the message center like the following post them here.  i should be able to make it work with these numbers.

07:05:27 DEVICEINFO DESCRIPTION IS Canon EOS T6s
07:05:27 DEVICEINFO NUMBER IS #########.
07:05:27 YOUR *REAL* MODEL NUMBER IS ##########(#########)

A little off-topic, but I noticed that 3.1.7 supports the EOS 80D. I bought a 80D last month and the previous version of BEOS didn't connect with that camera. I have now  verified that the new BEOS now works with it. Thank you for being prompt with adding the support when the Canon SDK became available.

Can you provide me with these numbers? Without them can not support your camera,  With them I can support your camera within 24 hours.

Regards,

I'll be getting a T6i for xmas, and I'm very interested on BYEOS supporting it. So if nobody sends you those numbers by then, I'll be happy to do it.

Regards

Diego
