And when you use the other M mode does it work?

These presets are not needed because the purpose if BYN is exactly to let you choose any duration.

I had a D810a last year on loan from Nikon and it has no issues with long exposure.

Try BYN 1.0.4. Another user reported issues with 1.0.5 and his D810a which I have already fixed in the next release which i hope to release sometime in July.

Keep us posted please.

When I select "Time" in the Shutter box it will not let me input a Duration Value.

The M+ has preset time values built in. When I connect with the USB it disables this function on the camera.

Thanks,

Guylain,

Thanks for your response.

Will there ever be a way to run sequences in mirror up mode?

Tim

Mirror up mode is overrated.  It does not provide any value in long exposure photography because any vibration (if any) is washed out within a few seconds into the exposure.  This is one of those feature that everyone wants to use because it seams like a good idea... but is somewhat useless for what we do.

I'm the guy with the 810a 1.05 problem. Uninstall and load 1.04. Works wonderfully. Don t mess at all with your camera. BYN works everything. Just plug in and turn on. If you run into connection problem turn camera off and on. It s great. John
