cuts out after 1000 pics?

hi 
im trying something different than astro work my some has got some daffodils and is intrigued on how they change over night

 

so what i decided to do it take 1sec photos though out the night so he can see what is happening so i have a can 400d with a 18-55mm lens and mains psu i set the timer up on bye and set it to record into the night but after about 1000 photos it stops working? i have set it up to continuously take photos with the loop button not sure what i am doing wrong to make it stop taking photos?

Hi, I have a feeling your computer may have gone to sleep, or the hard disk did.  Check that the hd and computer are set not to sleep and/or hibernating.

Another thing to look at is if Windows did a schedule reboot over night, could be it.
