Riccardo,

I do not have a definitive answer except to say that according to the Camera Support Grid the D5500 is supported and has been tested by Guylain.

As far as the battery and internal temperature are concerned...The value shown by BYN for the battery strength undoubtedly comes from the Nikon SDK and BYN can only display what is reported.  For the sensor temperature, If it is like the Canon cameras, the only way to display the sensor temperature is to read it from the EXIF metadata in a downloaded image.  So unless and until you have captured and downloaded an image no value will be displayed.  Even then you have the option to skip reading the EXIF data.  If you choose to do this, you have in effect said that the sensor temperature is not important.

The short answer is Nikon do not have any sensor temperature readings so there is nothing I can display.  There is nothing in the exif data either.

The battery reading should work; it should display the same as on the camera display.  If not it is a bug.

Regards
