BackyardEOS 3.5.0 x64 RC7 is unable to create AVI movies

Question

Hi,

I'm running BYEOS for more than 10 years. It´s very helpful!

I bought a Canon R10 and BYEOS 3.2.3 doesn't connect. I installed BYEOS 3.5.0 x64 - RC7, PC Win11 Pro 23H2

I can´t run planetary record, either AVI, AVI + JPG and JPG only I got a request authorization for AVI encoder, I granted it . Try again same message on log:

BackyardEOS is unable to create AVI movies, encoder not found!

I recorded command windows after authorization access. It looks copy and regsvr32 commands had wrong file names. I checked at install folder and there is no names like that.

I can see Live View on Planetary mode.

Can you help to solve this problem?

Best Regards

Mario Leite

I don't have the 64-bit Bytescout files either. No installation error is created.

I am able to capture JPG images in Planetary mode. However, they are in the BackyardTEMP folder and no AVI file is created.

This appears to be a problem with the BYE 64-bit installer missing the expected files. However Guylain will need to chime in.
