The existing pre-requisites in the User Guide are out of date and need to be updated. They indicate that BYE will run on XP, Vista, and 7. This contradicts information provided to users via the Forums.
Other updates that may be useful are to stop distributing and prompting for, version 2.10 of the Canon SDK. This SDK is only for DIGIC II cameras and earlier which are not supported by drivers from either Canon or Microsoft on either 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows 8, 10, or 11. Since O'Telescope no longer supports BYE running on Windows 7 or earlier, this version of the SDK is useless and confusing for new users. At the same time, the Supported Cameras table should be updated to indicate that the older cameras are no longer supported.
Finally, while editing the Supported Cameras table, it may be useful to add a column to differentiate between which models are supported by the 32-bit version of BYE and which require the 64-bit version.
