Electronic Shutter (Canon R5)

does BYE support electronic shutter mode?  I know that the maximum exposure time is limited in electronic shutter mode, but I'll be shooting exposures below this threshold anyway an would like to minimize any vibration where possible.

Setting the camera to electronic shutter, bulb mode and in BYE selecting the drop down under "shutter" instead of "duration" allows the camera to operate silently in electronic shutter mode for up to 0.5 second exposures.  Note that the camera still fires at selections higher than 0.5s in the drop down menu, but the actual exposure is limited to 0.5s;  that is to say, if you select a shutter of 8s in BYE, the shutter will fire, but the exposure will be 0.5s not 8s.

According to the R6 manual exposures longer than 0.5 seconds are not possible in Electronic Shutter mode. BYE cannot make the camera do something that Canon prevents it from doing. In any case, vibration caused by the shutter should be undetectable.
