Z fc Support?

achristo

Question

Hi,

I've recently purchased a Z fc mirrorless, which I think is almost a clone of the Z50, except for the retro appearance.

I thought maybe this camera would work with BN considering the Z50 does.

However, BN does not recognize my Z fc.

Any workaround for this?

Thanks,

Alan Christopherson

How are you trying to connect BYN to your Z fc? WiFi will not work and should be disabled, if possible. You need to connect a USB cable between the camera and your PC.

That said, I do not recall anyone else asking about that camera model so there may be something that the BYN developers need to do to support that model. They may ask you for information that is displayed in the log history after a failed connect attempt.

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to a Nikon Z fc too.

Using USB cable (Nikon NX Tether is working fine)

Selected Z50 (is similar sensor), I get a "cannot connect message", and a strange beep coming from the camera.

Here's the log:
