Canon R6 Mark II

Hello, I have installed the 64bit version of BYE on a 64bit operating system Win10 Home 22H2. My Canon 5D Mark II works fine, the Canon R6 Mark II does not. What can I do? Many thanks in advance. Regards, Wolfgang

Thank you all. With your help I found the wrong entry in camera's menu. After disabling "choose USB connection app" camera is connected now.

Please provide more information about how the R6 Mk II is failing to work as you expect. The more information you provide, the better the help you will receive.

Well, I actually own a R6 Mk II, and it is connecting at my end.

I have tried both the 32 and 64 bits if BYE, and they both connect.

Are you sure your R6 Mk II is not connected to another app? Therefore, preventing BYE to establishing a connection?

Do you have Wi-Fi disabled on the R6 Mk II?

You may also need to configure the camera to allow it to take pictures with no lens attached. This would be in the camera's menus, not in BYE.

Hey, I am experiencing a similar problem with my Canon R6mii.  Could you elaborate on how you disabled the "choose USB connection app" setting?  When I go into that setting, I only have 3 options, none of them are 'disable'.  I see:
 

• Photo Import/Remote Control
• Video calls/streaming
• Canon app(s) for iPhone

I've tried all 3 of those options and none of them allow me to connect to BYE.

I would think from those 3 options you would need to select "Photo Import/Remote Control".
