ASCOM freezes when centering (occaisonally)

I'm using ASCOM Device Hub with the following connected:  Explore Scientific EXOS2-gt PMC 8 Mount, Stellarium, BYN, and PHD2.  Occasionally, when I click center in BYN on my target, ASCOM locks/freezes up.  It only happens when centering.  However, I can go multiple imaging sessions without any issue, and have other nights where it repeats several times.  My only fix is to force shutdown my computer and restart everything.  I think I've copied the relevant log info below.  Firewall is turned off.  Suggestions on what to check?  Thank you!!

You should look at the PMC-8 driver logs for the cause of the error.

DeviceHub is reporting a problem to BYE that originated in the PMC-8 driver.
