Can't install trial version

Hi Guylain.

Trying to install the trial version on my Windows 7 laptop but keep getting the error,  no Internet connection. It's obviously connected with firewall disabled (no anti virus installed).

Yeah, w7 won't work any more because of TLS

First, the title of your post does not accurately reflect the core of your issue. You have BYE installed and it launches correctly, so you are not having an installation issue.  A better description would be that you are having a license validation issue.

You can try to install and activate Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 onto your Windows 7 laptop. This may no longer be possible due to MS discontinuing support for Windows 7. That would make your only other option to upgrade the Windows version to 10 or 11 which come with TLS 1.2 installed.

Sadly, you have only 2 options.

1. Upgrade your computer to W11 where TSL 1.2 is installed/updated by default.
2. Stay on W7 and buy a purchase key for BackyardEOS (does not require internet to validate keys)

by the way...BYE trial version will not run on windows 7 period.

Ive just finished regeditting the extra keys and values for TSL 1.1 / 1.2 and still no licence key validation. This was after completly disabling the firewall.

BYE needs to specify MS Windows OS requirements

Windows requirements are specified in the camera support grid... and W7 is simply not supported
