760d with BYEOS?

Hi guys

I`m 99% decided on a 750d as my first DSLR but just thinking if I should pay a bit more and go for the 760d?. The 760 doesn`t seem to have been tested yet with BYEOS but as it uses the same Digi VI processor as the 750 I assume it would be ok?.

I`m not planning on using it for imaging as such although on the road spectroscopy with a Star Analyser is something I have planned for it so I don`t really need any mods done to it and the more I read up on it actual day to day use could be interesting too.

Any thoughts on this and if the difference is worth it (?) please

No I didn`t see it Guylain thanks!. Quite a difference in price as well so think I`ll stick with the 750.

The 760D is not in the grid yet... so it will not work.  Assuming it will work because it is similar to the 750D is a false assumption any day of the week sadly

 

Each model are unique from one another as far as the SDK is concerned!.

The release notes for BYE 3.1.5 say "Change: New Canon SDK; support to 750D/T6s, 5Ds, 5DsR added." 

 

Is the mention of the T6s (760D) a typo?

Crap, you're right.

 

The 750D/T6i and the 760D/T6s are 2 models and the grid is wrong as you pointed out.

 

Both are supported, I just checked in code.

 

The camera grid has also been updated.
