Nikon Support Grid enhancements

I'm trying to figure out what it takes to support the widest variety off Nikon DSLRs that folks might show up with at my club's Astroimaging workshops.

 

Nikon's seem to have a confusing array of usb and shutter (serial) connections, and even cross referencing the BYN support grid with the info at shoestring astronomy for serial cables leaves gaps as to what to buy.

 

I'd like to see two additional columns added to the Nikon BYN support grid; usb connector type and Shutter connector type please.

After a lot of googling I "think" this is the info for the shutter release connector types:

 

D40 IR only

 

D90, D5000, D5100, D7000 8 pin

 

D200, D300, D300s, D700 10 pin

Looks like 3 types, usb mini b 5pin, usb mini b 8 pin, and usb 3.0 micro B

Have older Nikon DSLRs used non-standard USB Connectors, as well as Shutter Connectors??

Just keeping a set of the Mini- and Micro-B USB Adapters should work to give you proper coverage.
