Why Two Desktop Icons and Similar Screens Opening

I just upgraded my Windows laptop to BYE 3.2.3. It provided me with two separate but related windows"

Backyard EOS 3.2.3 Premium Edition

Backyard EOS 3.2.3 Premium Edition 1502

What's the difference in them?

Do I need both?

Can I delete now?

Hmm, I don't have any shortcut icons for BYE on my Desktop. For me they are created on the All Apps list on the Start Menu.

That said, deleting shortcuts does not delete the application, only the shortcut.

Are there multiple copies of BYE installed? I don't know why you would ever need multiple copies of the same version of BYE to be installed. That is because when you install a single version of BYE you actually get 4 separate executables installed. They are named Cameras 1 thru 4 and are designed to allow you to control multiple cameras simultaneously.

1502 is the port number used dual camera setup.

The installer creates 2 icons to make it easier for those with dual camera setup. They can be deleted if you don't use them, or keep the one you use only.
