When I select Save As to save an edited off-line capture plan. It gives me a dialog where I can enter the new capture plan name. It does save it under that name. You may need to provide more info about what you are doing and what you are seeing.

Oh, I think that I see what you are referring to. If I load a plan "plan_a.txt" and save it as "plan_b.txt" the plan name at the top of the Capture Plan Name does not change. It still says plan_a.txt. This is either a bug or it is how the developers intended it to work. What you are saying is that when you save it as plan_b.txt you would expect the displayed name of the plan to change to plan_b.txt. This would allow you to make changes to the plan and click save to update plan_b.txt. That is actually what happens, even though the displayed plan name stiill says "plan_a.txt". This seems like a bug.

At least in Windows, with every program I work with, when you select "Save As" that new file name becomes the new working file.
I confirmed that BYN follows this convention.
I opened Test#1. Made a change and saved as Test#2. Changed again and just saved. Reopened Test#1 and it was still the original plan. Opened Test#2 and it had the latest changes.
So BYN does follow standard convention. The "Capture Plan Center" [plan_name.txt] that is displayed is not the actual working plan after Save As.
I would definitely call this a bug.
